How did you get your start in publishing?
I grew up in Kansas City, MO, and moved to NYC after college. After various internships and part-time gigs as a writing consultant and bookseller, I landed a position at Penguin Random House.
Can you help me get a job in book publishing?

Can you help me publish my book?
I can provide general advice based on my personal experience on both sides of the industry, but please understand that I am not the kind of editor who can buy your book, nor do I work with indie authors. (No judgment—it’s just not my wheelhouse.)
